The international program titled “Different Cultures, One Stage: Intercultural Dialogue through Music,” organized by Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University within the scope of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), has begun with the participation of students from Italy, Romania, Portugal, and Latvia.

Organized in cooperation with the University’s Erasmus Institutional Coordination Office and the State Conservatory, the program opened with speeches delivered by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Serkan Umuzdaş, Director of the State Conservatory, and Lecturer Melike Aypar Aktanoğlu, Erasmus Institutional Coordinator.

During the opening speeches, the role of music as a universal language of communication in bringing different cultures together was emphasized, along with the contributions of the Erasmus+ Programme to international cooperation and intercultural interaction.

Following the opening session, the program continued with ice-breaking activities designed to help international students get to know one another and strengthen cultural interaction, as well as joint concert rehearsals.

Throughout the program, which will be held from October 12 to 16, 2026, students from different countries will have the opportunity to strengthen intercultural dialogue through music and share a common stage experience.
