Founded in 2015, the Department of Turkish Music has continued to offer its Undergraduate Program since the 2015-2016 Academic Year, its Master’s Program since the 2017-2018 Academic Year, and its Doctoral Program since the 2021-2022 Academic Year.
The academic staff of our Conservatory consists of 3 Professors, 6 Associate Professors, 3 Assistant Professors, 1 Lecturer, and 1 Research Assistant.
Our educational facilities include 4 modern classrooms, 2 lecture halls, 1 computer laboratory, 1 concert hall, and 8 sound-insulated practice rooms available for student use. The modern classrooms are equipped with sound insulation and smart boards.
Each year, nearly 80 scientific, artistic, and cultural activities are organized at our Conservatory with the participation of our academic staff and students, including concerts, recitals, talks, seminars, and similar events.
As an institution committed to high-quality arts education, we aim to educate artists who are sensitive, thoughtful, inquisitive, critical, and eager to learn. Guiding and supporting talented individuals throughout their development is among our fundamental missions.
Through our undergraduate, thesis-based master’s, and thesis-based doctoral programs, we aim to educate individuals who can effectively use scientific reading and writing skills, follow professional and social developments, and demonstrate strong collaboration skills.
Our academic staff actively plan and support the professional, artistic, and lifelong learning processes of our students.
